Alfred
You can’t use Adobe Photoshop ‘smart objects’ in Affinity Photo (either the desktop versions or the iPad version) if that’s what you mean. Alfred
I’m afraid I’ve only ever used Photoshop Elements, so I’m not familiar with the details of smart objects’ capabilities in a full version of Photoshop. v_kyr
Embedded docs and images behave similar in APh, though I don't know if the iPad version works the same way here as the desktop versions. DanNet
talking about non destructive editing in affinity photo for ipad: 1) can you preserve the data of the original layers? 2) apply editable filter and adjustment? 3) update mutiple layers at once? thx! Staff Lee D Posted December 1, 2018 Staff Share Posted December 1, 2018 1, You could choose to duplicate the original layer first and then hiding, then make all the adjustments based off the duplicate. 2, Adjustments can be edited again after applying and some Filters can be converted to Live Filters. 3, Would depend on what you are wanting to update, could you expand a little. Actions can also be undo using the History studio.
