firstdefence Posted December 1, 2018 Posted December 1, 2018 Hi all, another member @debbru is using the crop tool with Absolute size and the DPI is not Sticking. Create a preset Select Absolute size and put in your dimensions Document is 72DPI and you want it 300DPI so you change the DPI from 72 to 300DPI You save the preset Close the image down and reopen it Select the preset you created with 300DPI as an option It shows 72 DPI not the 300DPI you added to the preset. The preset appears to get the DPI from the document not the stored DPI in the preset? iMac 27" 2019 Sequoia 15.0 (24A335), iMac 27" Affinity Designer, Photo & Publisher V1 & V2, Adobe, Inkscape, Vectorstyler, Blender, C4D, Sketchup + more... Staff Chris B Posted December 3, 2018 Staff Posted December 3, 2018 Hey firstdefence, I can confirm this behaviour too. Seeing as the other presets load with 300dpi (ISO paper sizes etc.) I would imagine your own preset should too. I'll pass this on—thanks.
