Wastenberry
Hello Crew, I am attempting to upload a logo in .SVG format to the Wix.com website builder, and it is having some difficulties. The image is a business logo which I created using text elements and shapes in the Affinity Photo desktop platform. (Likely there's a better tool for this job, but I'm working with what I have on hand.) When I export the file, it functions properly and the thumbnail in my finder window shows the full logo. However, when I upload it to the web platform, it seems to take every letter that has a masking layer attached to it and render them completely invisible. I have fiddled with every export setting I can think of, and cannot seem to identify which of them may be affecting the contents of the exported file in a way that causes the website to read those elements as completely masked. I have attached examples of both the SVG files and JPEGs of what one would ideally see in the logo and what I am currently receiving once I upload it to Wix. Anyone have any ideas? 20181129_Mycroft_Logo_14_PostWixUpload.svg 20181129_Mycroft_Logo_14.svg

Unfortunately, the problem still persists. I've reattached your file after uploading and downloading it again. firstdefence
I basically converted everything to curves, what are you exporting to i.e. which file format, I can export to jpeg med quality and get the image on to wix, I can also do png files. my six says svg is not supported as an image file. This is the png file uploaded to wix and added as the logo on a dummy site. Wastenberry
The goal is to get .svg files instead of .jpg files, since the .svg files will (theoretically) better withstand rescaling when you switch the website between desktop and mobile viewing modes. I can also get my .jpeg files to export correctly, but this specific problem is persisting in the weirdest way and I'm fishing to see if there is any solution besides resorting to just using image files. Clearly it's just with the Wix platform because obviously the files are uploading and downloading here just fine and remaining intact. I assume that's partly because we are all using Affinity to open them, but that seems weird to me because "export" (to me) should make the file into a more or less neutral file type that can be usable to various other platforms. Thank you for your assistance though, as it gut checks that that particular option was one that I should have tried in the first place! firstdefence
The SVG format has several ways to draw the same thing so affinity does it one way Adobe another, Sketch, Inkscape and other will export an SVG but the code to draw the same image will be different. firstdefence
20181129_Mycroft_Logo_14 version 4.svg This should upload as a vector and retain all the letters. I've basically traced it and exported it as an SVG but the way you have made this is way over complicated lol! 10/10 for creative thinking though stokerg 1 Quote iMac 27" 2019 Sequoia 15.0 (24A335), iMac 27" Affinity Designer, Photo & Publisher V1 & V2, Adobe, Inkscape, Vectorstyler, Blender, C4D, Sketchup + more... If I have time tomorrow I'll do a tutorial on how to make a similar logo. stokerg 1 Quote iMac 27" 2019 Sequoia 15.0 (24A335), iMac 27" Affinity Designer, Photo & Publisher V1 & V2, Adobe, Inkscape, Vectorstyler, Blender, C4D, Sketchup + more...
