Would love to see some Affinity Photo code/modules as plug-ins or licensed menu options in the the new Capture One Pro v12.

The new plug-ins interface in C1 v12 enables development:  https://www.phaseone.com/Capture-One/Plug-ins.aspx

Best capture + best post tools together within the Capture One framework.

m:)

I was saying the same thing earlier :)

I'm not sure as I have been a Phase One user and tester for many, many years and my observation is ... the plug-in ecosystem supports third-party extensions and will soon have access to plug-ins for sharing and editing, as well as connecting the software to "specialized editing tools,"

And from Phase One: "The initial Capture One Plugin SDK allows for plugin development, and can be leveraged for common tasks like sharing, sending files to external editors, and allowing images to be opened in other applications, and more."

What about:

Opening files/variants in a stack?

Open file/variant as a new layer?

Previewing and managing .afphoto files?

Capture One already has its own layer strategy.

.afphoto files are unique to Affinity.

So are you going to tell me that the layers in Capture One are as powerful as Photo :4_joy:

Please load a file in a layer in Capture One! Please make a composite of multiple images in Capture One!

A few years ago DNG where unique to Adobe Suite, PSD where unique to photoshop.

You could argue about this forever, DNG is a public standard launched in 2004,
AfPhoto is a proprietary standard for Affinity
and PSD is a proprietary standard for Adobe.

And why not add APhoto support to Lightroom, On1 RAW, Luminar, etc., etc
