Is it possible to find all text with a given style?

Recommended Posts

In Microsoft Word, it is possible to select all occurrences of a given format and then apply a new or different style.  This is very helpful when importing text from different Word files that different formatting. I cannot find how to do this so I suspect this is a feature request.

Thank you in advance.

Sounds like you would need function like "Replace Style". In InDesign this happens when you just delete a style; InDesign will ask what style will be used instead of the deleted one. Unfortunately Publisher does not work that way.

Yes it is. In the Find and Replace panel select a cog (top right) and you should be able to search for paragraph styles, character styles and replace them with new ones.

It's quite powerful.
