Interesting bug on Mac related to loading RAW file generated by Canon G7X Mark II camera

Recommended Posts

Affinity Photo v 1.6.7 Mojave 10.14

If I load the RAW file using the Serif Labs RAW engine lens correction is not handled properly. However, if I try to get around this by changing the RAW engine to Apple (Core Image Raw) the image is severely mangled: it's split in two. But the file loads fine in Finder and in Photos.

To get around this I use the Serif Labs RAW engine and turn off lens correction and correct the image myself.

Just thought I'd let you know. If anyone knows an easier fix, I'd much appreciate it.
