srg Posted November 27, 2018 Share Posted November 27, 2018 Hi all, I use AP for all my post processing needs and have so far been using mac Photo for storage and archival of the RAW photos. I have problems with this application though, not fan of it so I tried ON1 but I found it so cumbersome that it is for me almost impossible to like, may be I could get use dto it but its logic is diffrent from mine I guess. I was wondering what you all use and eventually recommend. My archive contains several thousands of photos and I take thousands a year. If you have imported a RAW file into Pixave you can right click on the file and either open with the Default app or select Open with... a RAW file will open into Develop Persona in Affinity Photo. To set the default app go to Preferences: General Tab: Image opens with... Select No External Editor Selected Click the Select... button choose the app you want as the default app Affinity Photo would now be an immediate option in the right click context menu.
