Joel Marks
My recent files list is not being populated in Designer. I can only guess that this behaviour is following the system wide settings to turn off recent file lists. However this is not the behaviour I want -> I don't want macOS remembering and listing every file I have opened, however I *do* want Designer to keep a recently used file list. I'm migrating from Illustrator where the recent file list ignores system wide settings. I am assuming this is a feature not a bug, but I would so much like an option for Designer to keep an independent recently used file list. Staff Dan C Posted November 27, 2018 Staff Share Posted November 27, 2018 Hi Joel Marks, Welcome to the forums You're correct in saying this a feature, not a bug in Affinity. We decided to always use the system wide preferences set, so I've moved this thread to Feature Requests for our devs to consider adding this as an in-app option in the future! Quote Please note - I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time. Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible. Many thanks!
