Exactly! I find this very annoying, too and it's long overdue for correction/implementation! iorbita
Kingwhistle
AGREE!!! Brush organization is really not very good! The app should highlight the chosen brush in the brush panel when the curve is selected AND the name of the brush should display at the top when selected. This is causing me such SLOW DOWN in creation time. The Brush panel should FOLLOW (highlight) (link to) the selection on the canvas (should be able to turn on/off "follow selection" in preferences !!!) iorbita
iorbita
I was hoping to find this feature in 2.3.0 update and still nothing... I don't understand why it's taking so long to integrate into Affinity suite. Honestly, it's a BASIC feature, and it's terrible not to have it in a professional vector application... too bad 👎 Pšenda
Hangman
Hi @iorbita and welcome to the forums, Select 'Show Brush Names' in the Brush Panel context menu... iorbita
thanks for the reply (and for the "welcome" 🙂 ), yes the name is visible but I don't know which brush is selected and when you have a lot of brushes it's just impossible to find the brush that was used
Hangman
These were the full list of brush improvements made in v2 (which you may already have read)... It would be a nice addition to be able to identify which vector brush was used for a particular stroke by having the brush auto-selected in the brushes panel when clicking the respective layer in the layers panel... iorbita and voom 2 Quote Affinity Designer 2.4.1.2344 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1.2344 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1.2344 Affinity Designer 1.7.3 | Affinity Photo 1.7.3 | Affinity Publisher 1.10.8 MacBook Pro 16GB, macOS Monterey 12.6.8, Magic Mouse
