Penwill Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 When I select Export the pop-up window with export file options displays for a second then the program crashes. I have retried several times, including rebooting the computer. I have an 80-page file about 90mB with a mix of text and quite a lot of black and white JPG images. I am running OS 10.11.6 with the latest Beta update. I want to be able to export to PDF.
thomaso Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 To delimit what causes the issue and/or as workaround you could try to ... a.) ... export parts of your document only b.) ... choose another PDF setting (f.i. low resolution, without image downsampling, no font embedding, with/without font curving) macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1
Penwill Posted November 25, 2018 Author Posted November 25, 2018 Thanks for the suggestions. I don't think (b) would work as I don't see the export options window long enough before crashing out to change the settings. I have found a workaround by selecting Print from the File menu and then Save to PDF. That works fine.
