iMac1943 Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 I use Affinity Photo and Designer from the very beginning, but I made a mistake.. Instead of reading https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/10119-official-affinity-photo-desktop-video-tutorials-200/ I started missing erround trying everything. That's why I say that I made a mistake. Now I follow the mentioned tutorial and I learn a lot. But I have a question: When I click on Develop Persona, I get the message 'Please select an RGB pixel layer before entering Develop' How do I do that, or what am I doing wrong? Thanks for replying. firstdefence Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 It means, you need to select the layer with the image on it in the layers panel, so it shows as active i.e. the layer turns blue. iMac1943 Posted November 24, 2018 Author Posted November 24, 2018 No, why cann't I do this again. See screen picture. In the layer panel it's blue now. Quote
iMac1943 Posted November 24, 2018 Author Posted November 24, 2018 Thank you, that solved my problem. Often, it sites in a small corner... but with the help of the Affinity community here it doesn't take long for receiving an answer for a problem. Quote
R C-R Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 Users so often overlook the "(Image)" suffix in the Layers panel that I think it would be helpful if it was somehow more distinctive. Even just a simple change to bold all caps "(IMAGE)" text would be a step in the right direction.
