Gardenia Posted November 22, 2018 Posted November 22, 2018 I would like to purchase Affinity Designer for iPad now with the Black Friday discount. I do not have a compatible iPad yet. It may take a week or 2 to get it. To my surprise Apple does not let you buy the App without the iPad. In the past you could buy apps on the desktop iTunes and copy them to your iOS devices later on. Is there any other way to buy Affinity Designer for iPad other than the Apple Store? Filo63 1
Paul Mudditt Posted November 22, 2018 Posted November 22, 2018 Fairly sure you can’t, but not to worry you really won’t mind paying full price later, it’s still excellent value for money compared to the alternative. Filo63 Posted November 22, 2018 Posted November 22, 2018 They are in the same situation, the value for money remains affordable, it would be a bad luck to arrive only a few days later However, I bought a nice collection of brushes that I already tried in the desktop versions! Ciao Fabii
Staff Callum Posted November 23, 2018 Staff Posted November 23, 2018 Hi Gardenia, Unfortunately it's not possible. You used to be able to access the iPad App store from other Apple devices but Apple removed this feature. Thanks C Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
