Unfortunately I am not to sure what the issue is or how we can help. Could you please elaborate? We are happy for you to post in your first language if it makes it easier to explain the problem you are having.

If the product is installed on your computer but licensed to someone else, you can find and modify the information in the registry key at

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Serif\Affinity\Designer\1

where there are string values named 'Email' and 'Product Key'.

Please back up the registry, or at least the HKLM\Software\Serif\Affinity key, before making changes which could cause major problems if performed incorrectly.

Hi! I will try to explain myself better. at work I was assigned to a computer with installed affinity. but I have my own license, and I would like to use mine. but it is a work computer with a lot of important software that I am not allowed to format.

I already deleted registry and affinity, but when installing I was never asked for the product key. affinity works perfectly, it's just the fact that I would like to know that I use my license.

Why do you want to use yours? It is a company computer, being used for commercial  work, and using their license seems more appropriate. For you, personally, there should be no difference, so why try to change what's already there?

there is no difference. technically everything works well. but I do not know what license I'm using, surely a pirate with a random serial ... and knowing that I have a license of my own. I do not know if I can eventually have any problem not having an update or something like that.

My guess:

If your work computer runs without problem, its licence is properly installed and valid.  Your comment about a pirate with a random serial seems to suggest you think your work computer may have an illegal copy of the software.  Is that correct?

I would use your own serial number to install the software on a computer which you own, i.e NOT your computer at work.

The problem of missing updates may occur if your work computer has an illegal licence, but that is a problem for your employer, not you.  Your own computer will not be affected by this if you install using your own, genuine serial number.
