John Fleet
See screenshot. My text boxes have picked up an unwanted indent and I can't figure out how to fix it! I can't simply drag the indent markers back to the left and right edges..
MickRose
If you open the Text Frame panel you probably have an indent of a few mm. Quote Windows 10 Pro, I5 3.3G PC 16G RAM
Staff MEB Posted November 22, 2018 Staff Share Posted November 22, 2018 Hi John Fleet, Welcome to Affinity Forums Go to menu View ▸ Studio ▸ Text Frame and check if you have any Insets set in the General section on top. Set them to 0 (zero). Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software | Affinity Quick Reference
John Fleet
thanks guys Yes it was a text frame setting. At that point I hadn't discovered this option buried within Studio. Now I have so problem solved thanks to your help and Youtube! Very much enjoying getting to grips with Publisher - taking me back to the 'good old days' of Aldus Pagemaker! and such a relief to be working with a 'proper' DTP program that isn't Adobe ransomware. So now I have a replacement for Freehand, Photoshop and InDesign/Quark. Happy days!
