Check the Affinity Beta Software Forums.

It has sections for the new Photo and Designer customer betas, as well as the Publisher public beta.

  • 6 months later...

I have Designer v 1.6.5.123.

Not interested in the beta; but, do I have the latest final version.  If not where/how can I get the latest?  (I am a pad user.)

Thanks in advance.

Build 1.6.5.123 is the latest version of AD for Windows, at least in terms of functionality. There is a later build, but its sole purpose was to include the trial version in the same executable so that new users wouldn’t need a separate download after purchase.

I'm not sure what you mean by a "pad user"? I might think you meant iPad, and in that case I would point out that you're in the wrong part of the forums. But 1.6.5.123 is a Windows version number, so maybe that's a typo for "paid" :)

You can find the latest release info for each platform at

which indicates that you have the latest Windows retail version, at least in terms of function. There is a version with a later number (.135 vs .123) if you purchased from the Affinity Store, but both are functionally the same.

When there is a newer version for you the program will either auto-update when you run it or inform you of the newer version and where to get it, depending on where you purchased it and what options you have specified.

No, fat-fingered the word "paid".  Apologies.
