Hi, the margins only are to set with the menu now, not with Ctrl w. It is needed! lars

I missed it too. You have to use the windshield button now. Or otherwise set your own keyboard shortcuts in the preferences panel.

As far as I'm aware ctrl+w is not a default shortcut for hiding margins but you can assign your own shortcut in preferences

It was, but it isn't any more as of Publisher beta .174. Now the shortcut is F10 (on Windows, and I think perhaps on Mac but I'm not sure).

However, to see the changed default shortcut you may need to reset your shortcuts: Preferences, Keyboard Shortcuts, then press Reset. Note that this will clear any custom shortcuts that you've created, but it will let you see/use the new shortcuts for File > Place and View > Preview Mode.
