buscarini
I haven't this been suggested before. I think it would be pretty useful to have pie menus for quick tool switching. I haven't seen this in image editors, but I think it's pretty common for 3d modeling: In this app, for example, you can customize them to have multiple levels, you can have quick color selections, etc. I think it allows for very a very quick access to common options. Polygonius
Yes, all things which make the handling, the GUI... more fast and efficient should be a big goal for 1.8. So many things so long-windowed, mouse-mile-instensive, click-intensive... Whenever possible use a direct-selector instead a hamburger-dropdown like in the new HSL isntead this long-windowed hamburger-chooser in eg. Curves. Give us an uniform-preset-editor (styles, brushes, macros.....) for move, delete, rename, reorder... batch wise with sub-categories... give us rightclick for tools (eg. fast flow-setting for brushes, or color-dynamic... whatever i have set to appear here...)... I wish the focus of 1.8 would be: improve the overall userfriendly! Quote OSX 12.5 / iMac Retina 27" / Radeon Pro 580X / Metall: on! --- WWG1WGA WW!
