Embedded images not returning to linked

When placing images onto the page they stay embedded even though they claim to be linked in the control panel. The control panels states 'linked' whilst the layer says 'embedded; therefore not able to add to a library. See snapshot below:

Embedded document on things like the layer panel is just a generic name used for any placed document as linked is still a new thing to affinity. The name is simply to denote the type of layer, not the linked or embedded state of the document. At this time we do not have labels that dynamically change to match the link status but it is a known issue and something we will look at addressing as it can be confusing.

For now the placement status shown in the resource manager is the status of the file regardless of what layers say
