Parallel lines

Greetings from Germany 

Ich like to know how to fill a page with parallel lines with the Same distance between each line so I can put a Design it, so I have a black and white Image

Draw a line with the pen tool, clicking first on the left, then on the right of the canvas. To get it vertically or horizontally straight hold down shift when you make the second click.

Duplicate the line (cmd + J) and move it a set distance, you can use the transform tool to move it exactly or you can just drag the duplicate down a bit.

Another method to duplicate the line is to select the line, press alt and drag a duplicate to your desired distance.

In both instances you can now press cmd + J to repeat the line and it will move down the distance you have moved the duplicate line giving you evenly spaced lines.

Damn, that's where I went wrong. I always clicked first on the right, then on the left of the canvas.

I’m not quite sure how either method is supposed to work when you want a vertical line!

You can also check the new texture-filter and here the preset smoothed bars. If u just want one row  play with the parameter a / bar count.

If you want more geometric bars, change the equation like here and add a new 0.1 with the parameter c for the vertical size of your choice. And play with the a-bands for the thickness.

If you like to see your above layers, use another blendmode to see ...

Why doesn't AD have a simple off set command like any CAD program... If I draw a curve in the shape of a heart, how do I get a parallel line offset from the first line in a set distance? TIA for any help!

Welcome to the forums.
One quick technique is to:
* duplicate the layer;
* give the curve a larger thickness;
* Expand Stroke;
* Separate Curves;
* delete inside/outside curve as appropriate.
