Polygonius Posted November 17, 2018 Posted November 17, 2018 - where is the media-browser now? - when rastering an image, it will not cropped to the canvas, so how to get this old behavior? Quote OSX 12.5 / iMac Retina 27" / Radeon Pro 580X / Metall: on! --- WWG1WGA WW!
R C-R Posted November 17, 2018 Posted November 17, 2018 Note that questions about betas should be posted in the appropriate beta forum like this one. That said, regarding the Media Browser, I think it was mentioned in the Affinity Publisher beta forum that it was being removed from the 1.7 versions for some reason, possibly because it relies in part on an API that Apple has deprecated & will not be available in future versions of the macOS -- but I am just guessing about that. Some of the functionality of the Media Browser is available from the Open file window in the sidebar in the "Media" section (you may have to scroll down the sidebar to see that section), but it only works with image files stored in the Libraries of Apple apps like Photos, iPhoto (if you still use it), & Photo Booth.
