RenWaller Posted November 15, 2018 Share Posted November 15, 2018 Hello, If a bulleted line of text is longer than a single line, how do I get the beginning of the second line of text to line up with the text in the first line (after the • >>)? With the text frame selected go to menu View ▸ Show Text Ruler, then drag the left indent mark. When you activate the ruler it is displayed above the text frame - you should be able to create a new bullet style (probably Bullet 4) to enable you to apply it regularly. MickRose Posted November 15, 2018 Share Posted November 15, 2018 These work fine if you are using the Frame Text Tool. If you are using the Artistic Text Tool the View/Show Text Ruler isn't an option, but you can get the same result using the Paragraph Panel/Spacing/top left 2 boxes. Staff MEB Posted November 15, 2018 Staff Share Posted November 15, 2018 Not sure the Artistic Text tool is the most adequate for this. For text blocks the Frame Text tool gives far more control. The Artistic Text Tool is mostly intended for artistic uses as the name implies: single words or a sentence you may want to apply to a path or for text effects.
