Hi,

I'm having trouble trying to copy a color into a curve and text.  I've tried a number of different things, including trying to match profiles between two documents.  Here, I created a new document, placed a png in it with the proper colors, then tried to change the curves and text to the same colors.  No luck.

Any help resolving this would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers, -T

Hi trav.yo,

Welcome to the forums.

Using the same RGB Hex colour codes I setup a quick test document, from the screenshot below the colours are closer to what you should be getting. Can you check what Colour Format and Profile your document is set to. Mine was set to RGB/16 and sRGB.

Bet it's set to CMYK, as RGB the colour picker reads the colours correctly.
