Colour selector for strokes on text

Recommended Posts

I'm experiencing issues when selecting text and then wanting to add a stroke - the option for stroke is available in the Style menu, but no colour option is available.  I've seen a stroke colour selector on the top bar before now - although not sure if that is just for text box as opposed to Artistic text.

The only way I could get to set colour is to go in to Character, where I could adjust it under Decorations.  This does seem to be overly hidden for the stroke function.

I'm running version 1.7.0.612 on MacOSX 10.14.1.

Check the last item in Styles it is called Outline.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4
Affinity Designer 2.4.0 | Affinity Photo 2.4.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Display the Stroke panel with View > Studio > Stroke

or switch to the Fill Tool and change the context menu drop down option from Fill to Stroke for more options
