stevejharris Posted November 12, 2018 Posted November 12, 2018 All previous versions have installed and worked fine. I just downloaded affinity-publisher-beta-1.7.0.162 I click on the file, unusually I get an 'unknown publisher' alert which advises me to 'not install' I override this and install. set the folder path as suggested then a message at the end 'install failed' if I then click on my old menu bar icon to run the prog, I get the message 'program not found' and I delete the icon/shortcut. I'm running Windows 10.
Chris_K Posted November 12, 2018 Posted November 12, 2018 HI stevejharris In explorer if you go to %temp%/AffinitySetup and in the folders inside see if there is a setup.log and a SetupUI.log and attach them at all? These will help us understand why the install is failing Once you have them can you try restarting your machine and seeing if it will allow you to install? If not you may need to try re-downloading the install as it may have been an incomplete download cheers Serif Europe Ltd - Check the latest news at www.affinity.serif.com
