ellaryk
After viewing the tutorials I'm not seeing any features that were not in PagePlus X9. So, if there is any new functionality perhaps a document telling us what that is would be very helpful. If there aren't any new functions then why would anyone want to upgrade from PagePlus X9? Also, you really need to convert PagePlus X9 Assets and custom color schemes.
Ink Stains
I am finding that Affinity Publisher handles opening and editing of .pdf files to be far superior to PagePlus X9.
fde101
This is a brand new program and they are just getting started. There will obviously be more coming. I am expecting that integration with Photo and Designer will give it quite an edge for a start, but that isn't available yet in the beta. If PP does everything you need then you are a happy user. The only reason you might want to consider switching to Publisher is that PP is no longer in active development and Publisher is being developed as its successor. You may want to keep an eye on its development and see whether it's worth your time and effort to learn it. In time you may conclude that Publisher is the way to go for you or not as the case may be. But if you are a professional then you owe it to yourself to know the tools of the trade that are available on the market today.
