Momof9
SO I figured out how to export multi-layered pngs with a transparent background. But ALL of the layer styles are not being saved. Ie I had a layer that I set the layer options to soft light next layer was luminosity One layer, I was able to save the bevel, but not the noise filter. But with this one none of the other styles would show. The file in all instances are less than 2mb. It also was a layered Tiff file I opened in Photo. Any ideas on how to save the layer styles as well....

Staff MEB Posted November 12, 2018 Staff Share Posted November 12, 2018 Hi Momof9, The PNG format doesn't support layers. Only Adobe Fireworks was able to keep layers intact on PNG's because it added additional data using a private/proprietary tag.To keep the layers intact/files editable you must save the file in our native format (.afphoto or .afdesign depending the program you are using), or as TIFF (Save Affinity layers must be ticked in the export dialog for this). Note that only Affinity apps will be able to access the affinity layers saved with the TIFF file.
