Multiple PDF Import Crash with Color profile window

Recommended Posts

The pop up for the assigned colour profile seems to be cause a serious error that causes affinity to hang during a multiple PDF import scenario...

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Select multiple PDFs in Finder
  2. Right click and open with Affinity Designer
  3. Program crashes unable to click or perform actions

Workaround

  1. Open each file using same method above individually making sure to dismiss the colour profile assignment popup before opening each file.

It seems to happen pretty much all of the time and I think it's the colour profile thing but I can't be sure, however the steps above usually reproduce this. I have also attached a screenshot of the console log. I would really like to know why I can't open multiple PDFs at once (in this case it affects single page PDFs and multiple page documents too).

Hi Apache,

Welcome to the forums :) Thanks for your report and my apologies for the delayed response.

Could you please open Affinity Designer>Preferences and then take a screenshot of your Colour options for me? This will allow me to replicate your workflow as I have my Designer set to default settings and I can't currently duplicate the crashing.
