lines disappearing sometimes

Hi flying_motion,
Welcome to Affinity Forums :)
Objects with no fill or stroke are not visible on screen (in default view mode). You can only see their blue outline and the corresponding bounding box when you select them. The purple lines you see in your screenshot are related with another feature: Snapping: Candidates and only appear when you have them enabled. To disable the purple lines go to menu View ▸ Snapping Manager... and change the Candidates dropdown to anything other than Candidate List.

If you want to draw objects using just their outlines (no fill, no stroke) consider changing the View Mode to Outline (menu View ▸ View Mode ▸ Outline).
