rudyumans
using FFT Denoise, Affinity help says to use the alt key (windows) to zoom the pop up with the frequency patterns, but they don't say how and no matter what i try, nothing happens. Am i missing something?
toltec
That is wrong. On Windows, press the left hand Ctrl key and use the mouse wheel. At least, that works for me. Not sure why the right hand Ctrl key doesn't work Quote Windows PCs. Photo and Designer, latest non-beta versions.
myclay
additionally, Alt Gr + mouse wheel works too. So I looked that up and it said the right Alt key or Ctrl + Alt, which works (right alt doesn't), but as Toltec said, just ctrl works just fine, which would holding the alt key as well seem a little redundant Either way, my tired eyes are grateful for the help

(I would have to double check that) edit: I checked and it says Option key. Now I don't know if that is the ctrl or alt equivalent

To reproduce it, with the filter window open, use the Spacebar keyboard shortcut to switch to the View Tool to move the display around in the window. The pointer changes to the hand icon as expected but afterwards there does not seem to be any way to return it to a brush. Clicking & dragging to paint on the display no longer works -- it just drags the display around in the window -- but clicking without dragging creates a single spot with the size & other properties of the brush. The only way I found to avoid this is to close & reopen the document.
