How to toggle snapping ?

What I think you are asking is to align objects and that can be done by selecting the objects you want to align and going to Arrange > Align Centre

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)
If you are using Affinity Designer check the Alignment button on the main toolbar (check screenshot below). In Affinity Photo you have to add it to the main toolbar (it's not part of the default layout) right-clicking the main toolbar and selecting Customise Toolbar....
