Can I change the filter center point?

Recommended Posts

Now I'm having 2 images in my document. I want to apply vignette filters on each of the images, and I just realized that vinette as well as other filters only affect the entire document, not just layers. Is it possible to change this so that I can use filtes on local layer level instead of on central level?

Not in the sense you mean but you can make selections that the vignette will adhere to, unfortunately it still has its centre point at the centre of the document.

You could create a shape blur it and convert it into a mask.

You can also use Gradients and layer blend modes, see image below.
