smilesmile
Rectangle Tool: Drag + ^ I can't make it work. Is it implemented already or is it a bug related with international keyboard configs? If that's a circumflex accent, i need to press SHIFT+ ^ in my keyboard (portuguese) to access it. Maybe this is what's causing the problem? Alfred
On a Mac, the ⋀ symbol is used for the Control key. It isn’t a shortcut, it’s a modifier: if you hold down the Control key while dragging on any of a rectangle’s adjustment handles, it will be resized from the centre. R C-R
Because on Macs a Control+Click opens the contextual menu, for the 'create along a line' shape tools feature to work, you must click first & then hold down the Control key to drag out the shape along a line. Thanks for that. I probably misspoke earlier: Ctrl on Windows resizes from the centre, so I would expect the Cmd ⌘ key to do the same thing on a Mac. It does. In fact, on a Mac both ⌘ & ⌃ can be used together to draw a shape on a line out from the center of where the drag begins. When doing this, the shape is proportionally constrained, as if the Shift key also was held down. Thank you for reminding me of this function, I had forgotten about it and I don't think it's in any of the documentation.
