Rsay
Automatic coloring of an active element (fill/stroke of shape/text etc.) when you press RMB (or LMB+modifier keys like Shift, Alt or Ctrl) on the color in 'Color', 'Swatches', etc panels. ex03.mp4
Old Bruce
Do you mean it is doing this or do you want it to do this? How is the computer to know which "inactive element" is to be coloured? I probably described wrong (sorry for my English again). I saw similar things in other programs (I attach a video preview). It is very convenient and practical. I change the fill and stroke without switching anything in the program. if you have a desire you can correct my english and i will change the main post. exmpl01.mp4
Old Bruce
Okay, the element is "Active" not "Inactive" (in = not at the beginning of some words(Welcome to English language's many stupid rules) meaning that it is Selected. I don't have a mouse with a "RMB (or LMB+modifier buttons)" In Affinity Designer we can change from the stroke to the fill by clicking the X key, then what ever colour we choose will go into the fill or the stroke. Try mapping your mouse buttons to the spot I point to Affinity Designer > Preferences. Myself I would not map the mouse buttons and just use the X (because I don't know what the RMB or LMB do). Just hit X then click on the colour and another better colour then hit X and do the border. I only have English and I have a lot of trouble expressing my self to others who also only have English, so don't apologize for learning the most difficult language in the world. , Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.5.5 | Affinity Photo 2.5.5 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.5 | Beta versions as they appear. MikeW
I too far prefer this method. It would make for great addition for the people with such mice.
