Hi - I want to combine 2 images into one & have some control over at least opacity in one of the images. Also I want to cut an object out of one image & place into another. I can't find the right tutorials for these. Can someone help? Thanks.

ps I posted before I noticed I need to check recieve replies & couldn't edit to fix it.

You can drag one image into another or use File > Place... Each image will be on its own layer so you can edit the opacity of the layer.

Have both images open and make a selection in the image you want to cut out and select Cmd + C then go to the other image and use Cmd + V to paste the copied selection to the second image.

if you are on windows just use Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V

If any of the layers are (Image) layers you will need to rasterise them first by right-clicking and selecting: Rasterise
