Hello. I use the Canon EOS 200D and will use Affinity Photo on my MacBook Pro 15" (2018) under Mojave. Is it possible to use RAW files from my camera in Affinity photo? I'm not sure because I can't find this model in your list. Thank you very much for your answer.

For me, opening RAW images in Affinity Photo is no problem. There's not a mode for it I don't believe, just open and you should be given option before developing it. The AP wizard settings/assistant is pretty good too. I think these are set as default. I've opened up EAW from Nikon and Olympus cameras.

From reading the various posts about the EOS 200D I think there might be a problem, I am just guessing that is a newish Canon camera with a new RAW format, if I am wrong about it being new then @abfdesign's experience mirrors mine. I have an older Canon 60D and it is fine.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4
Affinity Designer 2.4.0 | Affinity Photo 2.4.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Even Affinity Photo's own RAW engine seems not to support it (it's not listed there), you can on Macs use and switch alternatively to the Apple RAW engine inside Affinity Photo. And since MacOS Mojave (macOS Mojave and iOS 12) should support your EOS 200D, see here, you should be able to develop RAWs in Affinity Photo on your MacBook Pro.

For your sureness you can also try this first out via downloading an Affinity Photo for MacOS tryout version!

☛ Affinity Designer 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Photo 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Publisher 1.10.8 ◆ OSX El Capitan
☛ Affinity V2.3 apps ◆ MacOS Sonoma 14.2 ◆ iPad OS 17.2
