I’m still waiting.... I love how they say everything that you can do in affinity desktop can be done on the ipad version, but that is not true. For any serious photographer or photo editor, the info panel is critical. I cannot recommend it until that is available.

I just purchased Affinity for iPad and, without the info panel, it is a complete waste of money. I can't do what I need to do without being able to accurately set the curves to match. I never would have purchased the app if I knew that such an important feature was missing. I assumed that since it is available for desktop it would be available in the app... which is advertised as being able to do everything that the desktop version can. Absolutely untrue and so disappointing.

But, it cost 1/3 of the desktop version, but do almost 99% of the desktop version... Pretty good, at least for me ;-)

But, some day it will be implemented...

Happy amateur that playing around with the Affinity Suite - really love typograhics, photographing, colors & forms, AND, Synthesizers!

That’s great for you - but unfortunately for those of us that are professional and need to colour correct to 10 and 245, a crucial and early part of the work flow, it is useless.

They have stated that the iPad version has all the features of the desktop - and that is a lie.

Where have they said this? I’ve always been painfully aware that some of the features of the desktop versions of AD and APh are missing from the iPad versions.

Well, for example, in the Affinity Store, for Photo on iPad, you can see this:

Hi. First post on this forum. I signed up to request this feature. Needed to color balance skin tones. If there is another way to do that with existing features please let me know.

thank you for listening to the user community.

Especially when I can see some of the info panel functionality hidden away in the underlying software engine in this image, created on desktop then loaded into iPad. The info panel that had been used two colour pickers are still visible.

BUMP!

+1 again.

Would have saved hours while nailing down a bug in Photo on iPad.
