List formatting & styling

Recommended Posts

When you try to set up a list in Publisher, there doesn't seem to be any way to set the formatting, so the list has a crazy wide indent from the number or letter. Unless there's something I'm missing, Publisher needs a way to format lists as well as set styles for them.

Hello @taizo,

you have to asign a text style to the list first (or create a new one from that as a starting point).

Then you double click on the text style in the 'Text Styles' panel and there you click in the left list on 'Bullets and Numbering'.
In the field 'Tabstop' you can adjust the space between the bullet and the text. And many other settings, too.

Have you looked at the View > Studio > Paragraph panel, Bullets and Numbering section? There a similar section for paragraph styles too, as dominik mentions.
