I didn't want to start / re-start any heated discussions ...

Tell ya what ... I'll pay ya $300US for my perpetual copy on baremetal Linux OK ?   (Assuming Windows / MacOS users pay $80US)

Crowdfunding wouldn't work because of the long-term nature of the work I'm thinking.

Just signed up to let people know that at least PhotoPlus works and is installed on UBUNTU 16.04 LTS

I use this regularly and have used Serif from perhaps late 1990's Windows 95 Pentium II

just wish I had Affinity Photo as it is getting great reviews in the Macro world because of some form of lightweight easy stacking.
