HealingDoodle
I'm just learning to use the pen tool. I'm trying to create a vector shape out of a scanned image of hand-drawn letters. So, for instance, the letter A has a small triangular shape in the top section (A). I can't figure out how to bypass that section with the pen to make one big shape. Would I just have to make three separate pen shapes of each piece instead? Thanks, Susan
Alfred
Make an ‘A’ shape with the triangular counter (‘hole’) filled in. Place a triangle shape on top, select both shapes and click on the ‘Subtract’ icon in the Geometry section of the main toolbar. firstdefence, HealingDoodle and Quake72 3 Quote Alfred Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for Windows • Windows 10 Home/Pro Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for iPad • iPadOS 17.5.1 (iPad 7th gen)
