I selected the background layer the color selected for the brush is red and the trace is white... Can someone help me ? Maybe you have that adjustment or filter layer selected instead of the image layer itself. Without seeing the Layers panel, it's difficult to guess what's going on. If you attach screenshot of the app with the Layers panel visible as well the tool you have selected we may be able to explain what's happening for you.
