How To Use Cloning Tool To Remove Object and Fill With Background Color.

I'm not having much success at removing a background image and recoloring, thanks for your help. I've tried using the clone tool but this isn't to successful. I'm using a PC laptop

Hi @Harley1122,

Welcome to the forums. 

You would be better off using the Fill > Inpainting. 

Make a selection using the FreeHand Select Tool, then go to Edit > Fill. Choose Inpainting and then Apply.
