Mr. K Posted October 27, 2018 Posted October 27, 2018 When I insert a return at the end of a sentence Publisher adds a blank line. Is there a setting to just start a new line without the blank line? Quote
walt.farrell Posted October 27, 2018 Posted October 27, 2018 As with word-processing applications, a return indicates the end of a paragraph. If you want to force a new line (line break) within the current paragraph, use shift+return (or Text > Insert > Line Break). Note that the character you use can be changed in Preferences. Text > Insert will show you your current shortcut character. Old Bruce Posted October 27, 2018 Posted October 27, 2018 Do you have any additional space after the paragraph in the Paragraph Style > Spacing section? I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

I do have it set to 12 points. I think I understand why this is and I think I will leave it set this way and remember to use shift return when I want a new line and not a new paragraph. Quote
