JEdd Posted October 27, 2018 Posted October 27, 2018 Hi, I am using the Affinity Trial Version on a PC. The Filters do not appear to be active (in filters: noise, denoise and sharpen, unmask). I am following a tutorial with an image and neither the noise, denoise or sharpen unmask change anything on my image. Is there a problem with the Trial Version? UPDATE: I think I figured this out..... I think it is working. Appeared to need to zoom closer into the image to see the effect of the filters.

I bet the file you were working on was large in size hence the apparent lack of effect. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

I think I've read that you should view at 100% to properly see some of the filter effects. -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop 1: Windows 11 Pro 24H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU.
