Continue last stroke on tablet?

Hi,

I'm using Affinity Photo on a surface book in tablet mode (without keyboard). 
Is there any way to continue last stroke without using the Shift key?

AFAIK, currently the only way to to this is by holding down the shift modifier, apologies. We're constantly working on updating and improving the UI for Surface products and hope to have a workaround for keyboard modifiers in a future update!

Does the dial mode activate only on surface pro? Or on any tablet with Win 10?

The dial mode can be activated in any copy of Affinity, (Edit>Preferences>Tools>Enable Radial Controller Support), so provided that the computer supports it, so does Affinity

Perhaps you can temporarily (customize the utility only for that Aff. application(/s), and even disable the profile if you're not drawing lines) using X-Mouse Button Control (I'm in no way affiliated with that dev. But with Surface users, the non keyboard issues are popping a lot...) , I have a recent post with a linked tutorial about it here  (the idea here would be to replace the RMB(right click) side pen button with shift key, or alt...or have several configurations to trigger depending on your varying workflow(/s), switching and putting them on/off as convenient.):
