Yet I have occasionally wished to be able to snap to a midpoint between guides, and it still does not appear to be possible. I have noted Sean P's advice from three years ago to be sure that "Include bounding box mid points" is active, but it still will not snap. To my understanding, it is not currently a feature to be able to snap to the midpoint between two guides, and that would be a welcome addition.
