Old Bruce
Why can the Initial Words not have any of their attributes changed? All the other words in a Paragraph can be changed. Why can I not see what the attributes are, no change occurs in any of the displays when I select these words and characters. Even the applied Character Style is not displayed anywhere outside of the editing panel for the Paragraph Style. I have been trying to think of a reason for this behaviour but I can't come up with any plausible explanation. Old Bruce
Well amazing what a difference a day makes, somehow the above is no longer true. It may be that I set up a text style with immutable 'Initial Words' I shall investigate further. Seems as though there are settings in my Character Styles which are making the attributes hard wired so to speak. I shall have to make a list of does and don'ts. I am applying my powerful brain to the problem so do not hold your breath waiting for a reply.
