jsampson06
I have bought Affinity Designer and downloaded the .exe file. I have the product key. When I double-click on the .exe file, I see "Open file - Security Warning", "Do you want to run this file?" with a box to click on, "Run". So far, so good. I click on "Run" and the Windows blue whirlygig appears for a moment, and that's all. Why won't anything else happen? I am running Windows 7 Home Premium. Is that 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (i.e. with Service Pack 1 applied)? Did you restart your PC before running the installer? It shouldn’t make any difference to the outcome, as far as I’m aware, but if you’re still getting a security warning other than the usual User Access Control (UAC) dialog you can cancel the installation, right-click the installer file, choose ‘Properties’ from the context menu and then press the Unblock button in the Properties dialog. jsampson06
I have restarted the computer and tried again. I have also clicked on an "unblock" button I found in the Properties dialog. I have tried running the .exe file again. Something begins to happen because I see changes to which Windows Explorer window is selected, but that is all. I am running 32-bit Windows Home Premium SP1, not 64-bit.

dutchshader
32 bit won't work 64-bit CPU not found Your PC only has a 32-bit CPU. Unfortunately Affinity will not run on your PC unless it has a 64-bit CPU.
