Soper
When exporting Dropbox was greyed out and inaccessible. I cleared Dropbox's cache, signed out, and deleted the app. Restarted my iPad Pro 10.5 and reinstalled Dropbox. Now Dropbox does not even show as an option. Affinity will not let me "Add" Dropbox either. This breaks my workflow as I work across multiple platforms and Dropbox is my jam. I know I can use another service for the time being, but a lack of functioning Dropbox export baked in is a HUGE problem for me. Is there another fix that doesn't involve resetting my iPad? iOS 12 on iPad Pro 10.5, all Apps up to date.
Staff Lee D Posted October 15, 2018 Staff Share Posted October 15, 2018 Hi Soper, Welcome to the forums. Our app uses the built in Files app in iOS to see the available locations to save to. Without opening Affinity, check to see if Dropbox is showing in the Files app as it needs to be setup for Affinity to see it.
DM1
@Lee D Strange I tried an Export JPG in IPad Designer and chose Dropbox as the destination. As @Soper stated the Dropbox icon is greyed out and cannot be aced. I then tapped Share button and chose Dropbox. I was then asked to choose a folder and though I didn’t actually complete the Save I'm sure it would have worked. Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen). Staff Lee D Posted October 15, 2018 Staff Share Posted October 15, 2018 Dropbox is available for myself, the Dropbox app has recently received an update (116.2) this may of caused a small issue. Make sure the Files app and Designer aren't running just to be sure. Now open the Files app and click Edit and uncheck Dropbox then close and reopen, now repeat this time enabling. Now open Designer and Export a project Dropbox should be available. DM1 and TRUE

elarue
I am also having this issue. I just added Dropbox within the Files app, but then when going into Affinity Designer to export, Dropbox is grayed out. To be sure, I disabled and then re-enabled Dropbox within Files. Still no luck. mrqasq
