cog wheel in context toolbar - picture frame

Recommended Posts

In publisher there is a cog wheel button in the context toolbar when a picture frame is selected. When clicking this, I get a couple of options for corner settings, but these double the ones that are already there. Also the cog wheel does not fit the button well, so it looks like some UI bug, or something that needs to be removed?

Seems like some half-baked feature to me?

It's quite well baked if you asked me.

Presets are additional shapes that can be created from the standard shapes, except that you can save them rather than recreate them from starch all the time.

Have a look at this short video.

I'm not sure why that is. Try again. The video plays for me no problem.

Works for me, too.

Thanks, Seneca. I hadn't tried that using other shapes.

In one of my video players it does not run at all.  In 3 others it stalls at different points and will not continue.

The most I have got it to play is about 50% through

Won’t play.   I am using an IPad Pro.  Think that is the problem?   Although I have been able to run other videos in this forum.

It doesn’t play on my iPad Air 2, either. The control console says ‘00:00’ at the left-hand end and ‘-00:00’ at the right-hand end.

I've downsampled the screencast a bit.
I hope it works now.

This is indeed interesting, it just had not caught my eye, yet. The ability to save specific shapes is indeed pretty useful, even if I am not sure if this is the right place, and the right UI for it. It is hard to find, and the cog does not fit the frame/button. The dropdown at the top of the menu seems to do nothing. At least it seems not quite finished in this respect...
