Chris26
Hi, I tried searching, so here I am again. Is there a way in affinity to print a document (sending to home printer) but ticking a box or something to exclude all images? I have not placed any images in my doc yet just in case this is not possible. But it is a very useful option to have especially when you need to add images nearing a final stage of completion (in order to fine tune any text) but need to take a final print run just to view the text one last time. Then looking for the dishwasher and finding it stored in the living room where you have to download a water supply from the app store, then you have to buy microsoft compliant soap, remove the carpet only to be told that it is glued to the floor.. Don't forget to make multiple copies of your front door key and post them to all who demand access to all the doors inside your home including the windows and outside shed. Ah the front door key is yours and it only needs to open the front door.
walt.farrell
There doesn't seem to be any simple way to do that. You could look through the Layers panel and hide each (Picture Frame) layers or expand each of those layers and hide the (Image) layer it contains. Or, rather than printing, you could (perhaps) export to PDF and just view it on your computer. Being able to exclude the images seems like it could be useful at times. Quicker to print and cheaper too. Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.5.5 | Affinity Photo 2.5.5 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.5 | Beta versions as they appear. Chris26
I am not a programmer but it seens a simple idea to set in a piece of code that commands all layers with images to be switched off. When I grow up I want to be a coder. Don't worry this is not a suggestion, there is too much laziness now we have computers. So I'm off to my techno-workout, get some muscles in those fingers. Thanks Bruce and Walt for taking the time to comment, have a nice day.
